CULTURAL HIKES

Cultural Hikes

Tanzania has a rich mosaic of tribes and cultures with a staggering 127 different ethnic groups and more than 130 different languages. The vitality of their traditions is expressed in everything from ornate ceremonial attire to pulsating dance rhythms, refined artistry and community spirit. In particular, two of these ethnic groups stand out against the rest for their energy and distinctiveness. These are the Hadzabe hunter-gatherers in the Lake Eyasi area and the colorful Maasai pastoralist tribe residing in the Ngorongoro Highlands.

Our cultural tours enable you to experience the ways of life of the various tribes present in Tanzania and to immerse yourself in their cultures and traditions. Our tours give you a chance to learn about the awe-inspiring oral traditions of these fascinating tribes, hunt with the highly skilled Hadzabe men, share experiences with the locals and establish new friendships. Let us take you on an unforgettable cultural experience.
